The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
