The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
