T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
