Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
