Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
