The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
