The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
