He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and ease my task for me. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 and remember you often. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 (When this message was delivered), (Pharaoh) said: "Who, then, O Moses, is the Lord of you two?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
