But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Never! For, behold, We have created them out of something that they know [only too well]! 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
