Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
