[Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
