The Spider (Al-Ankaboot)
69 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Romans (Al-Room) before The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ AlifLaamMeem. 1 Do men imagine that they will be left (at ease) because they say, We believe, and will not be tested with affliction? 2 We certainly tried those who have gone before them, so God will certainly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are lying. 3 Or do those who do ill-deeds imagine that they can outstrip Us? Evil (for them) is that which they decide. 4 Whosoever hopeth for the meeting with Allah, then Allah's term is surely coming, and He is the Hearer, the Knower. 5 And whoever strives hard, he strives only for his own soul; most surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above (need of) the worlds. 6 We shall pardon the sinful deeds of those who believe and do the right, and give them a reward better than their deeds. 7 And upon man We ordained kindness towards parents; and if they strive to make you ascribe a partner with Me, about which you do not have any knowledge, then do not obey them; towards Me only is your return and I will tell you what you used to do. 8 As for those who believed and acted righteously, We shall certainly admit them among the righteous. 9 Some profess to believe in God, but when they suffer for God's cause they mistake the persecution of man for the punishment of God. But when help comes to you from God, they will say, "We have always been with you." Is not God fully aware of what is in the hearts of all creatures? 10 And most certainly Allah will know those who believe and most certainly He will know the hypocrites. 11 Those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Follow our way (of religion) and we verily will bear your sins (for you). They cannot bear aught of their sins. Lo! they verily are liars. 12 Yet most certainly will they have to bear their own burdens, and other burdens besides their own; and most certainly will they be called to account on Resurrection Day for all their false assertions! 13

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
