The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
