The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the fig and the olive! 1 and the Mount, Sinai, 2 And by oath of this secure land, 3 We have indeed created man in the best of mould, 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of the rulers? 8
