The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
