Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
