And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 for what they have done 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
