Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a straight path, 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
