Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
