Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say: 'Wait if you will; I shall be waiting with you' 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Have they a ladder up to heaven by means of which they can overhear? Then let their listeners bring a clear proof. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 and when their evil plans will be of no benefit to them nor will they be helped. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
