▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
