۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
