He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 to a rich man, 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 and in awe [of God] 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 exalted and purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble, pious. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what did He create him? 18 From a (sperm) drop He created him and then determined him, 19 Then the way He made easy. 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and green fodder 28 And olives and palms 29 And dense gardens, 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
