And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
