The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extending columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
