Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
