But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
