Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) 1 And what shall teach thee what is the Night of Power? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 On this Night, the angels and the spirit descend by the permission of their Lord with His decree (to determine everyone's destiny). 4 It is peace till the dawning of the day. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
