The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
