The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
