No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning for people -- 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
