The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, 2 but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce! 3 Do they not think that they will be called to account?- 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 By no means! Verily the record of the ungodly is in Sijjin. 7 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Sijjin is? 8 The record is a sealed text. 9 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." 13 Nay, but their hearts are corroded by all [the evil] that they were wont to do! 14 Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord. 15 then they shall enter the Fire of Hell, 16 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. 17 But, the record of the righteous is [preserved] in the 'Illiyyin -- 18 And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun? 19 A book inscribed, 20 To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah). 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 [resting on couches, they will look up [to God]: 23 upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss. 24 They will be given to drink pure sealed wine. 25 which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire. 26 for it is composed of all that is most exalting 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 when they passed by them they winked, 30 and, on returning to their people, boast about what they had done. 31 And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray. 32 Yet they were not sent as watchers over them. 33 So, the believers will laugh at the infidels on that day, 34 Regarding them from their cushioned seats. 35 Have those who deny the truth [not] been paid back for their deeds? 36
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
