The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
