Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
