Has there come to you information about the honored guests of Ibrahim? 24 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' And he replied: 'Peace, you are people unknown to me' 25 So he turned to his household and brought a fattened calf. 26 And he set it before them, and said: wherefore eat ye not? 27 And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy. 28 Then his wife came forward, making moan, and smote her face, and cried: A barren old woman! 29 "Such is the will of your Lord," they replied. "He is the Wise, the All Knowing." 30 ۞ Abraham said: “Envoys (of Allah), what is your errand?” 31 They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin;- 32 That we may send upon them stones of clay, 33 They are transgressors in the presence of your Lord". 34 Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, 35 But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters]. 36 And so We left therein a message for those who fear the grievous suffering [which awaits all evildoers]. 37 And in Musa (Moses) (too, there is a sign). When We sent him to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with a manifest authority. 38 but he turned his back, with his court, saying, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 39 So We seized him and his hosts and cast them into the sea. Indeed, he was blameworthy. 40 And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; 41 It left out nothing in its path, but which it split up into fragments. 42 And in [the story of the tribe of] Thamud, too, when they were told, "You shall enjoy your life for [but] a little while," 43 They transgressed against the command of their Lord. So a blast of sound struck them and they were unable to do anything but stare. 44 they could not stand up again, nor could they defend themselves. 45 And the people of Noah before; surely they were an ungodly people. 46
