The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is torn apart, 1 And it listens to the command of its Lord and that befits it. 2 And when the earth is stretched, 3 And shall cast forth that which is therein, and shall become empty. 4 And attentive to her Lord in fear! 5 Human being, you strive hard to get closer to your Lord, and so you will certainly receive the recompense (of your deeds). 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 he shall surely receive an easy reckoning 8 And he shall return unto his people joyfully. 9 But as for him who is given his book behind his back, 10 He will invoke (his) destruction, 11 but he will enter the blazing flame. 12 He once lived among his family joyfully; 13 and surely thought he would never return (to his Lord). 14 Yes indeed; his Lord had sight of him. 15 I do not need to swear by the sunset, 16 And the night and all it gathers, 17 and by the moon, when it reaches its fullness: 18 Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage. 19 What, then, is amiss with them that they will not believe [in a life to come]? 20 And, when the Qur'an is recited unto them, worship not (Allah)? ۩ 21 But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). 22 And Allah knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds), 23 Therefore give to them glad tidings of a painful punishment, 24 Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
