Then when the sent ones entered unto the household of Lut. 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 "We have come to you with news," they said, "of what your people doubt; 63 "Yet we bring to you the truth, and we are truthful. 64 "Then travel in a part of the night with your family, and you go behind them in the rear, and let no one amongst you look back, but go on to where you are ordered." 65 And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning. 66 And there came the people of the city rejoicing 67 He said: Surely these are my guests, therefore do not disgrace me, 68 Have fear of God and do not humiliate me". 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]." 71 By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they are indeed straying in their intoxication. 72 and thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at sunrise. 73 We turned the town upside-down and showered on them lumps of baked clay. 74 Indeed in that are signs for those who discern. 75 That town lies on a road which still exists. 76 Verily in that is a sign for the believers. 77 The dwellers of the Thicket were harmdoers. 78 On them, too, We took vengeance, and they are both on a clear roadway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
