۞ Beholdest thou not those who returned the favour of Allah with infidelity and caused their people to alight in the dwelling of perdition: 28 (Even to) hell? They are exposed thereto. A hapless end! 29 They have set up rivals to God to lead people away from His path. Say, "Enjoy yourselves awhile: you will then proceed to the Fire." 30 Tell My servants, those who are true believers, to keep up prayer and to give alms secretly and openly out of what We have given them, before the Day comes when there will be neither trading nor befriending. 31 [And remember that] it is God who has created the heavens and the earth, and who sends down water from the sky and thereby brings forth [all manner] of fruits for your sustenance; and who has made ships subservient to you, so that they may sail through the sea at His behest; and has made the rivers subservient [to His laws, so that they be of use] to you; 32 And He has made subservient to you the sun and the moon pursuing their courses, and He has made subservient to you the night and the day. 33 And He giveth you of all ye ask of Him, and if ye would count the bounty of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! man is verily a wrong-doer, an ingrate. 34
