"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
