Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What has come upon you that you judge in such a wise? 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
