Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,- 1 a Messenger from God, reciting pages purified, 2 containing upright precepts. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God, making the religion His sincerely, men of pure faith, and to perform the prayer, and pay the alms -- that is the religion of the True. 5 Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their recompense is with their Lord; Gardens of Eden, underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is wellpleased with them, and they are wellpleased with Him. That is for he who fears his Lord! 8
