Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
