At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. 63 We have come to thee with the truth, and assuredly we speak truly. 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. 66 And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing (at the news of the young men's arrival). 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 and fear God, and do not degrade me.' 69 They said: Have we not forbidden you from (other) people? 70 He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)." 71 By your life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement. 72 Then the shout took hold of them at the sunrise. 73 And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. 74 There are certainly signs in that for those who can learn a lesson -- 75 And verily! They (the cities) were right on the highroad (from Makkah to Syria i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now). 76 Lo! therein is indeed a portent for believers. 77 AND THE DWELLERS of the wooded dales [of Madyan, too,] were inveterate evildoers, 78 So We took vengeance on them. Both are still there on the highway, plain for all to see. 79

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
