T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 I Am your Lord. Take off your shoes; you are in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 Moses answered: "This is my staff. I lean on it (when I walk), and with it I beat down leaves for my flock, and I have many other uses for it." 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
