And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
