Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
