1/2 Hizb 54

۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
