Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
