Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
