Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
